Do you know what the pelvic floor is?
The pelvic floor is a set of tendons, ligaments, muscles and bands that surround and close the cavity of the pelvis.
It has a deeper muscular layer and a more superficial one where the urethra, the vaginal meatus and the anal canal emerge.
Inside the pelvic floor are the pelvic organs which are the bladder, uterus and rectum.
